Started in 2010, 12Volt Manufacturing, Inc., dba ProFit™ Sub Enclosures, is a leading manufacturer of custom vehicle specific composite subwoofer enclosure systems which are designed and manufactured using proprietary polymers including, but not limited to: polyester and casting resins, silicas, talcs, and various medium density fillers. These polymers were used primarily in mold making and casting applications in industrial, construction, entertainment, fine arts and technology sectors...until now.

In a typical car audio store it takes between 12-24 hours to design, fabricate, and finish out a custom vehicle specific enclosure. At a low $65.00 per hour custom labor rate example the total labor hours equates to $780.00 - $1,560.00 not including the costs of materials (noting the industry standard for custom labor is $85.00 - $125.00 per hour which equates to $1,020.00 - $2,040.00 @ $85.00 per hour up to as much as $1,500.00 - $3,000.00 @ $125.00 per hour not including the costs of materials.) If retailers could offer a turn-key custom enclosure solution to their customers they would effectively free up that 12-24 hours to turn out other installs thereby increasing daily sales.
